Wildlife around the island….

The transient orcas have been around the past couple of weeks, from north Vancouver Island...this one is sometimes called "Captain Hook" by the scientists up there....photo by Jim Maya

  1. WOW!!! what fantastic photos! what a gift we live near such wildlife; I have seen much this winter, including immature golden eagle often a real treat! what are the chances of catching the shadow of a gull in the white area of the orca, now that is amazing divine orchestration! thanks
