STEM Award Presentation

On February 13, 2013, a representative from the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) will attend a special meeting of the SJISD Board of Directors to present an award for STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

Six Schools and one District were named by OSPI as STEM Lighthouse Schools and each will receive $19,000 and will mentor other schools. San Juan Island School District is proud to be singled out as the one district in Washington State to receive this distinction.

This is an open public meeting and all are welcomed to attend. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, at the Friday Harbor High School library. The full agenda will be available on Friday February 8th.
