Island Rec is currently seeking dozens volunteers to help out with the 23rd Annual Children’s Festival, Saturday May 4th! No special skills are needed – just the willingness to help out and bring joy to hundreds of children!

This festival more than ever before will feature hands on activities that require several dozen volunteers throughout the day! Volunteer Help is needed with Imagine Children’s Museum and their six hands on building /engineering activities; building a 12 foot diameter geodesic dome and cardboard town with local architect David Waldron plus the usual parking crew and face painters.
Contact Sally Thomsen, Island Rec Director, at 378-4953 or play [@] islandrec.org to sign up for a shift from 9:30am –noon; noon -3:00 pm or for the entire day.
