Cole helps out in the kitchen

I just heard about a cool post on Val Curtis’ blog “Bon Bon Break” where she posts recipes and talks about getting your kids more involved in helping with meal preparation, making better food choices, and trying new and different foods. Here are a couple of excerpts:

“The game changer for improving your child’s eating habits is involving them in the process from beginning to end.”

“People often ask me why [my kids are] such good eaters. I think it’s simple. They eat what we eat and they are aware and involved in the entire process.”

The recipe has multiple places with the notation “KF”, for “kid-friendly step” to encourage you to have them help out.

It’s pretty cool – check it out at this link.

Kate gives it a taste test and says "I approve of this recipe"

“My name is Kate and I approve this recipe.”
