South Beach Cleanup
Posted April 20, 2013 at 10:05 am by Tim Dustrude
Please Join FRIENDS of the San Juans and National Historical Parks staff at SOUTH BEACH, San Juan Island from 9:30 to 11:30 Saturday, April 20 and help clean the beach for people and wildlife!
This Earth Day cleanup has been going on for many years and is happy to be a part of The 3rd Annual GREAT Island Cleanup.
Past years’ cleanups have removed 100’s of pounds of tires, tire floats, various forms/bit of large and small Styrofoam, fish net, shotgun shells, plastic food containers and more from this beach. Please come out and see what we can remove from the beach this year. Garbage bags will be provided.
