The Winds of Yarrow are Back in FH

The Winds of Yarrow bring a kaleidoscope of musical styles including classical, jazz and world music to San Juan Community Theatre on Friday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m.
Returning to the Whittier Stage after an enthusiastically successful debut concert in the 2011 Season, Winds of Yarrow quintet presents high class entertainment suitable for the entire family in this performance featuring selections by Bach, Mozart and Piazzolla, as well as an assortment of Romanian, Hungarian and Persian Folk songs.
Artistic director clarinetist Patricia Kostek will be joined by Rebecca Hissen (Eb clarinet), Rainer Roth (bass clarinet), jazz specialist Tom Ackerman and Bruce Miekle, string bass.
The Business Partner for this performance is BEST WESTERN PLUS Friday Harbor Suites. Tickets are $26 for adults. As part of Chamber Music San Juans’s youth outreach mandate, any person 17 years of age and younger will be admitted free of charge with a paying adult; otherwise, $13 for student reserved. $5 Student RUSH will be available at the door. A private donor has made provision for free tickets to anyone needing financial assistance to attend a Theatre event.
The SJCT Box Office is open Tuesdays-Fridays, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturdays 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and one hour before any performance. Call 360-378-3210, or surf to www.sjctheatre.org.
