Art Hansen and David Ridgway share a love of the land, notably the farms of the Skagit Valley. While each artist paints the farm from an intimate close-up viewpoint and off in the distance, both Art and David’s vision convey that illustrious place farms hold in our imagination and the actual physical landscape.

Farms represent the way food is grown, the way farm machines work the land and how these human interaction affects the land. David’s freshly painted oils displayed with Art’s watercolors dating from 1990’s – 2010, all work to create a unique and exciting visual representation of farms.
