March for Meals Luncheon at Mullis Senior Center to support Meals on Wheels and More

The community is invited to enjoy a delicious lunch and live entertainment by Jim Moe aka “Frank Sinatra.”

As part of the nationwide March for Meals campaign, the Mullis Community Senior center will host a special community-wide luncheon to benefit Meals on Wheels and More on Wednesday, March 25th, starting at Noon. There will be live entertainment by Jimmy Moe aka “Frank Sinatra.”

The menu includes:

  • Lemon Herb Chicken
  • Mashed potatoes and gravy
  • Roasted Asparagus
  • Caesar Salad
  • Strawberry Crème Cake

Advance tickets cost: $10, and at the door: $15. Tickets are available at the Mullis Senior Center. All proceeds support Meals on Wheels and More to help ensure no senior goes hungry. The Mullis Senior Center is located at 589 Nash Street, Friday Harbor.

Meals on Wheels and More supports the health and independence of older adults in Whatcom and San Juan Counties by:

  • Delivering nutritious meals to homebound adults age 60 and over.
  • Serving senior meals at local community centers and senior housing.
  • Providing nutrition education and nutrition case management.
