Open for New Year’s?

Hey all you local store owners, found this email (below) in the San Juan Update mailbag today, and I’m not quite sure how to answer. I figure this is your chance to let people know what your store hours will be on New Year’s Day:
Hi There,
Being from a small town myself, I’m wondering if Friday Harbor shops will likely be closed New Years Day?

The Toy Box will be closed on New Year’s day
The Whale Museum will be closed on New Year’s Day.
We will be closed on new years day
Island Wools will be closed on New Year’s Day.
Cotton Cotton Cotton will be closed December 31 – February 10th. Reopen February 11th!
the auditor’s office and vehicle licensing will be closed on New Year’s Day.
Hi Tim, I work at the Toy Box & the SJI Chamber of Commerce, Both will be close on Jan 1
Also the Chamber is closed on Dec 24 & 25.
The Toy Box is closing Early on 24th at 4pm
closed on Dec 25 & 26.
