Island Rec held their first annual Hill of Thrills soap box derby on Saturday and had a great turnout for this first-ever event here on the island. 18 racers competed in 3 different age groups.
- PJ Nixon took first place in the 5 to 8 years old category;
- Timmy Mountford won first place in the 9- 15 years category;
- and Michael Seibert won first place in the 16 years to adult category.
Everyone had a great time and will certainly be back next year with likely more competitors as word gets around how much fun this was. Click here to see more photos.
