Summer Sailing Classes

Island Rec sail­ing class­es hap­pen every sum­mer in coop­er­a­tion with the San Juan Sail­ing Foun­da­tion. Intro­duc­tion, Basic, Inter­me­di­ate, and Dou­ble Hand­ed Sloop hap­pen at Per­ci­ch Pond on Wold Road, and Jack­son Beach.

Par­tic­i­pants will learn to rig, tack, jibe, recov­er from a cap­size and oth­er basic skills while sail­ing solo in El Toros and Lasers.

These class­es are for ages 9 and up. There is still room in Basic and Inter­me­di­ate sail­ing this sum­mer. Don’t miss your chance.
