Thursday morning Friday Harbor Elementary School and Friday Harbor High School held assemblies honoring Veterans and Veterans Day.
Several local vets attended. The High School band provided wonderful musical tributes including playing the anthems of the various military branches.
The delightful children of Friday Harbor Elementary school sang patriotic American songs and learned about our flag and flag folding. It was wonderful to see the grace and respect these young people offered.
This weekend, please remember to thank a Veteran for their service.
