Audition Workshop for SJCT Spring Musical
San Juan Community Theatre is offering an audition workshop to help prepare folks for upcoming formal auditions for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
Director Carol Hooper is holding the workshop at SJCT’s PARC Studio (70 Saltspring Drive) on Thursday, December 14 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Hooper will explain more about the show (it’s the Broadway version—an expansion of the original animated feature film—not the recently released movie version). Attendees will also get a chance to do some singing and dancing and meet the production crew. Attendance is not required, but encouraged. Please note: the cast will be primarily adults, with one child 10 years or older and possibly some high school ages cast.
Auditions for Beauty and the Beast are January 8- 10, 2018. Performances will be in the Whittier Theatre May 11-26.
