Many islanders know Cynthia Elliott. Cynthia spent her days on San Juan Island volunteering with many local organizations. Building sets for San Juan Community Theatre, mentoring Spring Street School students, and sharing her music with Island Convalescent Center staff and patients are just a few of the ways she gave of her time and talent. As a mother and a daughter she dedicated herself to caring for the needs of both her sons and her mother, as a business owner Cynthia operated a massage therapy practice for many years.

Upon being diagnosed with Parkinson’s, Cynthia was forced to search off island for a place to live that accepted Medicaid payments for housing and care. Residing in an isolated environment with daily stressors and minimal treatment took it’s toll, and Cynthia has returned to her island home to live at Village of the Harbor. Cynthia needs our help!

Please join us at Isle Seat Theatre June 30th, 7PM & July 1st, 2PM for a fundraiser performance honoring her service to this community. This event features a ballet pas de deux by Lydia Downes, Stephen Moore, performance artist Cynthia Church, contemporary dancer Caitlin Ross and more! Tickets are available at the door for $10.00 and children 9 years old or younger are free! All of the proceeds will go to Cynthia Elliott.
