To commemorate 60 years in business at Vic’s Drive In on Thursday, members of the Chamber of Commerce and the Friday Harbor Town Council held a brief ceremony after which Vic’s owners Brian and Theresa Carlson cut a big ribbon to celebrate.

Along with the ribbon cutting ceremony, Vic’s also rolled back prices for 2 hours to what they would have been in 1958. Many people took advantage and treated themselves to 35-cent hamburgers or 40-cent cheeseburgers and the lines were long for most of the afternoon with seating difficult to find in the dining room.
