  1. Picture’s a lit­tle fuzzy, but it looks like raft (flock) of Com­mon Mur­res (not so uncom­mon in the San Juan’s dur­ing win­ter). They’re prob­a­bly camped out on a bait ball of her­ring or smelt wait­ing for the next oppor­tu­ni­ty to feed. Def­i­nite­ly not cor­morants or loons.
