Construction in Anacortes May Slow Down Ferry Traffic

Pas­sen­gers dri­ving to the Ana­cortes ter­mi­nal will want to give them­selves some extra time start­ing next week. The city of Ana­cortes will begin con­struc­tion work on a round­about at the inter­sec­tion of SR 20 Spur/Oakes Avenue and Ship Har­bor Boulevard/Glasgow Way on Mon­day, March 16. It is locat­ed just east of the Ana­cortes Fer­ry Ter­mi­nal. City crews will have stages of alter­nat­ing traf­fic, and there could be some detours. More infor­ma­tion about the work can be found on the city’s web­site for the project
