Scarecrow Contest Winners Announced

Here are the winners of the first-ever Scarecrow Contest, sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the San Juan Island Chamber of Commerce.
We had over 200 hundred voters and all of the contestants received votes. The following three entries received the most votes.
First Place: Stella Maris, created by Susie Allen and Moey Bryant.
Second Place: Dr. Hawkeye and Nurse Hot Lips Houlihan, created by Ann Benedict, Bette Cantrell, Fritzi Vitulli, Rick Benedict and Alice Payne.
Third Place: Glenda Gone Wicked, created by Barbara Marrett, Amy Nesler, Mitzi Johnson and Bill Watson.
