It’s a three-day weekend and Valentine’s Day on Sunday. Usually, it is the winter big weekend for restaurants, inns and stores.

This year, that is not the case, but you can still help make the holiday the best possible under the circumstances.

Support businesses if you can. We need your help to keep all of our local businesses open. Even though we move to phase two on Sunday, Feb. 14, 25% capacity doesn’t allow for hardly a smidgen of profit for restaurants, gyms and studios.

Our small businesses are what make San Juan Island awesome and unique. The absolute best thing you can do is shop local. It is safe and you will make a difference!

Look at our Chamber Business Directory for different places to shop for a little valentine for a friend or loved one. Click here for the latest restaurant contact information.

You can support the San Juan Update by doing business with our loyal advertisers, and by making a one-time contribution or a recurring donation.
