Overall
Sun is out, cases are as low as they have been in months, vaccination rates are increasing, schools are reopening, daffodils are blooming. There is a lot to be thankful for.
With luck, the good news on the COVID front keeps coming. However, at the risk of catastrophizing on this nice spring day, we should all prepare ourselves for one more COVID curveball. Not that it will definitely happen, and certainly not that we want it to happen, but there could be a fourth wave of cases this spring.
No need for panic or reversing current steps forward, but we all need to recognize that there might be a moment where we need to move backward. Hopefully not, but if so, as always, it is patience and empathy that will get us through. Fingers crossed.
