San Juan Community Theatre Updated Covid-19 Policy as of 10/28/2021: Rapid Tests Now Available

Mainstage performances return to San Juan Community Theatre with the first live musical production in two years – Mamma Mia! Running November 5 thru November 21, 2021. As we open our first major production since the beginning of the pandemic, safety is our highest priority.

SJCT continues to abide by all public health guidelines, updating our policies based on the most current information available. Our current policy for attending shows at SJCT includes providing proof of vaccination (or proof of negative COVID test results) and masking at all times while inside the theatre.

To see our full safety policies, please visit: www.sjctheatre.org/covid-policies

SJCT understands not all patrons are able to provide proof of vaccination and our policy also allows an option to provide recent negative COVID test results. Beginning with Mamma Mia!, any patron unable to provide proof of vaccination has the option to take a free rapid test on the night of the performance.

Patrons who wish to utilize this option will need to reserve a test at the Box Office by calling (360)-378-3210. SJCT will confirm the reservation if tests are available. On the day of the performance, those with a reserved test should arrive at our Box Office 60 minutes prior to show time. An SJCT employee will guide them through the testing process and provide seating in a socially distanced location while awaiting results. Patrons and/or their caregivers will be handle the swab portion of the test. SJCT cannot guarantee the availability of tests for day-of ticket purchases, so please purchase tickets and reserve tests in advance.

Please note that rapid test results not provided by and taken at SJCT will not be accepted. These policies are subject to change, but the most up to date instructions can always be found at www.sjctheatre.org/covid-policies. We look forward to welcoming the community back to indoor live theatre for our 2021-22 Season!
