Your photographic “eye” is a boon to viewers of the San Juan Update! Keep posting your excellent images, for while it is important to read about happenings in our county, a photo conveys a “thousand” words as they touch another part of our brains and we, residents and visitors, continue to connect with this beautiful oasis.
That said……
Yes, taking (more like ‘making’) a photo takes time and effort, and my following suggestion adds even more time to that effort, but if you are also a wordsmith, your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to gild the lily and add a short caption rather than just a title. This is a process I call ‘photoprose’ where both sides of the brain are nourished, with the caption adding spice to the visual feast. Call it an epilogue, where you can share more than what the viewer adds from their own interpretation. More I say, since I value the photo creator’s thoughts and motives as well as their visual creativity. The photos are your ballgame, add another inning….and maybe a home run!
