The way solstice works this year….

My read of this Wikipedia article is that solstice officially kicks in at 17:47 (GMT) today, which of course is eight hours ahead of us here in the Northwest. And since this is the shortest day of the year, tomorrow is the second shortest. And it keeps getting better from there…wahoo!
