Fire danger level downgraded, burn permits available Oct. 10

The San Juan Coun­ty Fire Mar­shal shares news about two impor­tant fire-relat­ed pol­i­cy changes. Effec­tive today, San Juan Coun­ty’s fire dan­ger lev­el has been down­grad­ed to mod­er­ate. This change is due to cool­ing tem­per­a­tures at night, a high dew point, and high­er rel­a­tive humid­i­ty.
