Mullis Center Serves Up Hot Lunches and Delivers Meals on Wheels

On Monday I had lunch at the Mullis Center. Lunches are served on Mondays and Thursdays at 11:45. It’s an inexpensive hot meal, $5 for seniors $6 for everyone else (all are welcome), and it comes with a choice of beverages, salad, and desert. Hospital Contract Is Amended

An agreement negotiated a few weeks ago by representatives of PeaceHealth Peace Island Hospital and the Public Health District on San Juan to reduce the annual subsidy paid to the hospital by the district by $50,000 was approved last Wednesday evening by a vote of 3-2.
