FHHS coach Travis Mager fires up the troops in Saturday's volleyball game...
• Friday night at Meridian, the Wolverines scored first but Meridian opened it up after that to put together a 43-6 football win over FHHS (1-1). Friday Harbor’s first home game of the season is this Friday under the hometown lights against La Conner.
• Lynden Christian’s volleyball team made it to the final four at state last year, and began this year on a mission, beating a plucky Friday Harbor team 25-13, 25-7, 25-9 on Saturday. FHHS is back in action Tuesday afternoon with Concrete at home.
