It faces east, so they’re calling the development Sun Rise. And it rose this weekend.

Town, County & State leaders joined the Home Trust as Mayor David Jones cut the ribbon on the Buck Property just above the gravel pit. The Town had voted in June to annex the property, and this fall the project gets underway, with funding for the first 14 homes pretty much in place. The idea is to have permanently affordable homes: Homes will be sold for approximately $140,000-$160,000, with sizes ranging from one to four bedrooms.

Here’s more about the project, from the Home Trust’s website.
