Winter Sports Post Season has begun. Below is an update on the post season opportunities for our winter sports teams.

First Wrestling, then Girls Basketball, and finally Boys Basketball:

  • Wrestling – One member of our wrestling team competed at the Tacoma dome this season. Stephen Nicholson competed well, winning his first match before losing back to back matches in the double elimination tournament. He earned his way to the event by placing in his weight class at last week’s regional tournament at Kalama. Visit our league website at http://www.nw1a2bathletics.com/ , for more information.
  • Girls Basketball – Our girls’ basketball team finished 3rd in league this season and took on Crosspoint here in a winner advance game to the tri-district tournament. Unfortunately, the girls fell short losing to Crosspoint 42–54. The girls played well down the stretch to earn the 3rd place spot in our league and earn the home playoff game. You can access all the scores from the season at http://www.nw1a2bathletics.com/. Use the girls’ basketball tab to access the playoff information.
  • Boys Basketball – Our boys finished the regular season in second place in league, and won the Tri-District tournament at Sedro Woolley this past week.
