A message from San Juan Community Theatre’s Executive Artistic Director, Nathan Kessler-Jeffrey…

Dear SJCT Community,

I hope this finds all of you well during this difficult season! Like many performing arts organizations around our country, SJCT is keeping a watchful eye on public health concerns, and we are in communication with the San Juan County COVID-19 Response Team.

Our plan is to continue operations as scheduled unless the school district closes or we are advised to do so by the County Health & Community Services Department. As of 9am this morning, there remain no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in San Juan County. HD performances are upcoming, and rehearsals are still in full swing for our spring production of Mamma Mia!

However, we partner with many community organizations who are choosing to postpone or cancel their performances at this time. Here are some updates to the SJCT schedule. Please see below regarding ticket purchases/refunds.
CANCELLED: March 13 & 14 performances of The San Juan Singers
STILL SCHEDULED: March 15 HD Metropolitan Opera performance of Der Fliegende Holland
CANCELLED: March 26-29 Friday Harbor Middle School performances of Jekyll’s Hydes
STILL SCHEDULED: March 31 HD National Theatre performance of Small Island
CANCELLED: April 4 Melodious Notes Over the Harbor
CANCELLED: April 11 Elegant Edibles Annual Bake Sale
