The Town of Fri­day Har­bor is seek­ing a qual­i­fied can­di­date to fill the posi­tion of lead finance clerk.

The lead finance clerk is respon­si­ble for var­ied and com­plex finan­cial duties, includ­ing some of the duties of the finance direc­tor in their absence.

The lead finance clerk per­forms a vari­ety of duties to pre­pare and main­tain account­ing, bud­get, pay­roll, util­i­ty billing and fis­cal records.

This posi­tion uses the bud­get, account­ing, and report­ing sys­tem to code entries and trans­ac­tions with­in the town’s finan­cial soft­ware. Con­fi­den­tial­ly is a require­ment of the lead finance clerk posi­tion due to pay­roll admin­is­tra­tion and var­i­ous human resource func­tions. Work is pri­mar­i­ly independent.

Pay range is approx­i­mate­ly $22.55 to $27.69 per hour depend­ing on expe­ri­ence. This is a rep­re­sent­ed posi­tion with benefits.
