Wolverines slip by South Whidbey….

Yesterday the softball girls edged South Whidbey 9-8 in a game that saw FHHS up 5-1 at one point (Kerri Goff had a 3-run homer), then see sawed back & forth until the visitors had to catch the ferry after six innings. Eighth grade Tigers claw their way to the top….

This past weekend, the two eighth grade teams hosted off-island squads – the Black Tigers played Granite Falls twice in a double header (winning both by 15), while the Orange Tigers took on Orcas, coming out on top by 8.
