Island Rec sail­ing class­es hap­pen every sum­mer in coop­er­a­tion with the San Juan Sail­ing Foun­da­tion. Intro­duc­tion, Basic, Inter­me­di­ate, and Dou­ble Hand­ed Sloop hap­pen at Per­ci­ch Pond on Wold Road, and Jack­son Beach. That’s the old booth above. Come see the new Mobile Pie Booth at the 4h of July Parade. The Fri­day Har­bor Ele­men­tary School’s beloved Pie Booth has been rebuilt! Race 750 miles from Port Townsend to Alas­ka? That’s pret­ty cool. With human-pow­ered or wind-pow­ered craft and no sup­port… OK that’s wow.
