One of my favorite photographers on the island showed off his photos from his trip to Antarctica at the Whale Museum last month. The crowd that night for Bob Stavers included folks that got turned away for lack of room – it was packed.

In the spirit of showing them & you what you missed, and also simply showing off some awesome pictures, I asked Bob if I could post his online gallery. So click here to see what his camera caught down there, in the cold.

    some of the photos are stunning; the rest are just fantastic!

    I liked the ones of the gulls over the water and the black and white ones the most. You have a terrific eye for composition!
