Island Rec Offers Youth Afternoon Recess, Skate Night

Island Rec has great new in-per­son offer­ings for youth this fall!

Join us, start­ing Oct. 20 for, after­noon recess, for K‑5th grade. Get your wig­gles out at Linde Park after a full day of vir­tu­al learning.

Activ­i­ties will be sport-focused, on soc­cer, base­ball and bas­ket­ball. After­noon recess is offered from 3–4 p.m. Tues­day-Thurs­day until Nov. 5 for $40 per week, rain or shine.

Skate night is also back! Fri­day nights, Octo­ber 23 and Hal­loween Cos­mic Skate on Oct. 30. Two times­lots are avail­able: 5:30–6:45 p.m. and 7:15–8:30 p.m. Pre-reg­is­tra­tion is required.

The event costs $5 per per­son, $10 per fam­i­ly. Ages 8 and over can be dropped off with­out a par­ent, as long as they can skate with­out assis­tance. Lim­it­ed space is avail­able in each session.
