Island Rec Offers Youth Afternoon Recess, Skate Night

Island Rec has great new in-person offerings for youth this fall!
Join us, starting Oct. 20 for, afternoon recess, for K-5th grade. Get your wiggles out at Linde Park after a full day of virtual learning.
Activities will be sport-focused, on soccer, baseball and basketball. Afternoon recess is offered from 3-4 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday until Nov. 5 for $40 per week, rain or shine.
Skate night is also back! Friday nights, October 23 and Halloween Cosmic Skate on Oct. 30. Two timeslots are available: 5:30-6:45 p.m. and 7:15-8:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required.
The event costs $5 per person, $10 per family. Ages 8 and over can be dropped off without a parent, as long as they can skate without assistance. Limited space is available in each session.
