For Thursday January 16, 2020 – Schools will be on a two hour delayed start schedule due to road conditions. Buses will be on “Snow Routes”. Please make safe decisions.

Wednesday Jan 15:  Schools will be closed due to inclement weather. The high school community dinner and the Community Projects presentations are also cancelled.  Be safe, we will see you on Thursday!

UPDATE: For Wednesday, January 15, 2020: School will again be on a two hour delayed start due to road conditions Buses will be on “Snow Routes” Please check back in the morning for updates. Updates will be posted on the school district website by 6:30 AM.

San Juan Island School District is 2 Hours Late, with morning buses on snow routes. Headstart is also 2 hours late.

San Juan Island School District Capital and Technology Levy February 11, 2020

The San Juan Island School District will be asking for voter support this coming February 11, 2020 in a special election for reauthorization of the Capital and Technology levy for the years 2021-2024. Fred Woods Named as Final Candidate for School District Superintendent

At the December 18, 2019 regular School Board Meeting, The San Juan Island School District Board of Directors named Fred Woods as the final candidate for the position of Superintendent of San Juan Island School District, pending contract negotiations. On Wednesday Dec 18, 2019, the San Juan Island School District Board of Directors will hold a regular School Board Meeting at 5:00 pm in the high school library. This is an open public meeting.
