Introductory boating class starts Feb. 1

Amer­i­ca’s Boat­ing Club of the San Juan Islands is hold­ing a four-week intro­duc­to­ry boat­ing class, start­ing Tues­day, Feb. 1. The class focus­es on basic boat han­dling, safe­ty con­sid­er­a­tions and require­ments, and nau­ti­cal rules of the road. 63 new COVID cases on San Juan Island

The San Juan Coun­ty Depart­ment of Emer­gency Man­age­ment reports 63 con­firmed or prob­a­ble new COVID cas­es on San Juan Island since Jan. 14.
