Traffic Disrupted on “Granny’s Way” (East Street Next to Ferry Lanes) Thursday Aug 27

Traffic will be disrupted while Contractors replace asphalt on “Granny’s Way” (East Street, next to the ferry lanes) this Thursday, August 27th. The Contractor is being asked to expedite the project with as little traffic disruption as possible. Granny’s Way will be closed to traffic until repairs are complete. First Street will remain open. The Regional POF Study launched early in 2020 assesses POF service across the 12-counties bordering Puget Sound and on Lake Washington and Lake Union. The Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) hosted a webinar on April 15 to kick-off the study. Vehicle reservations for travel on the Anacortes/San Juan Islands and Port Townsend/Coupeville routes between June 21 and September 26 will be available this Friday. WSF Seasonal Fare Increase

Several fare changes will go into effect beginning Friday, May 1. The annual peak season surcharge for single vehicle fares is scheduled to begin. Peak season runs from May 1 through September 30. Passenger fares and multi-ride products are not affected by the peak season changes. Winter Ferry Schedule Extended Again

Washington State Ferries is extending the winter sailing schedule through June 20 because of a continued decline in ridership due to COVID-19. It was previously scheduled to end on April 25.
