School District Reaches Tentative Agreement With Teachers Association

According to one of the teachers who prefers to remain anonymous, this is the last chance they have to negotiate locally – because of recent state legislation, the state will take control starting next year and give out 3% pay increases based on current pay. Gaia the Octopus

Researcher Dominic Sivitilli from the University of Washington, has been studying a rare Giant Pacific Octopus that he found in the waters just off San Juan County Park on July 2nd. Her name is Gaia, and Dominic transported her to Friday Harbor Labs to study for the last month and a half. With degrees in Continue Reading
