Huskies Shout Out to Quincy

World Record is Official

It’s now official as of this morning – Jim Mauldin of Mauldin’s Well Service here on the island has taken the world speed record for hydroplane racing in the 5-Liter class of hydroplanes. Island Rec sailing classes happen every summer in cooperation with the San Juan Sailing Foundation. Introduction, Basic, Intermediate, and Double Handed Sloop happen at Percich Pond on Wold Road, and Jackson Beach.
